2020 Kia Telluride
The all-new Kia Telluride gives Kia a full size crossover SUV to take on competitors like the Chevy Traverse, Honda Pilot and Nissan Pathfinder. With room for up to eight people in three rows, standard V-6 engine and loads of safety features and tech, the Telluride is the SUV of the year. Exterior
The Telluride is a little boxier than some of Kia’s other SUVs, this is because Kia wants to go back to their old squared-off appearance roots. The windshield placement is more upright and also a wide version of their signature grille that has stacked headlights.
Interior
The Telluride is equipped with premium features such as Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated first and second row seats, a heated steering wheel, a dashboard touchscreen and a Harmon Kardon stereo. There are five available USB ports and wireless phone charging is also available. Remote start and door locking come standard.
Under The Hood
With a 291 horsepower, 3.8 liter V-6 engine the Telluride has a powerful pickup. Front wheel drive comes standard, and the all wheel drive system has a lock setting that splits power evenly between the front and back wheels. The drive modes available are Smart, Eco, Comfort and Sport and they determine how much power goes to the front and back wheels.
Safety
The Telluride has many great safety features such as forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, blind spot warning, a driver drowsiness monitor, adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability, rear cross traffic alert with breaking capability and highway driving assist.
