2019 Kia Optima: a Kia for Everyone
Kia’s midsize sedan, the Optima, was born in 2013 and quickly grew to be one of the brands best-selling vehicles. This is why it came as no surprise when Kia announced they had a 2019 Optima in the works. From added safety features to inclusive packages, there is a 2019 Kia Optima for everyone’s style!
Optima loyalists will be relieved to hear to that Kia has vowed to equip every 2019 Optima with their advanced safety features. Not only will this include automated emergency braking, but it will also come standard with lane-keep assist and lane-departure warnings as well. In addition to these safety features, every 2019 will also include the latest up-to-date infotainment system Kia has to offer.
The 2019 Kia Optima will be available in different packages just like the 2018 Kia Optima. This includes the LX, S, EX, SX, and SX Limited. LX models will include a 2.4L inline-four engine. This engine comes in conjunction with a six speed automatic transmission. The 2019 Kia Optima S includes a push to start ignition, a 2.4L inline-four engine that comes with a six speed automatic transmission, LED taillights, an 18 inch steering wheel, and a black grille. The 2019 Optima EX includes a turbocharged 2.0L inline-four cylinder engine that comes in conjunction with a seven speed dual automatic transmission. This engine is exclusive to the EX model. Additionally, the EX includes adaptive cruise control, LED fog lights, and a heated steering wheel. The 2019 Kia Optima SX includes a turbocharged 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine that comes in conjunction with a six speed automatic transmission. This engine produces 245 horsepower. In addition to the engine, the SX comes with a panoramic sunroof as well as two-tone leather seating in red and black. The SX Limited allows buyers to swap out the red and black leather for bronze and black leather seating instead.
The 2019 Kia Optima is expected to cost just a little bit more than the current model and is speculated to be available sometime this year in 2018.
